Ahwatukee Windshield Replacement and Repair
Ahwatukee, or the “Land on the Other Side of the Hill,” is the urban village located next to South Mountain in Phoenix. But don’t let this small village fool you. There’s plenty to do, as we’ve learned traveling to our windshield replacement and repair customers. Here are a few of our favorites:
Festival of Lights
If you’re in town from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, Ahwatukee hosts the annual Festival of Lights. The entire town and visitors from across the valley all gather to witness this spectacle with their family and friends. The events kick off during the end of November with a fundraising party that provides a beer garden, live music, games and rides, food vendors, and a holiday marketplace.
The lights themselves are everywhere—from resident inspired pieces to every plant being covered in lights. The nickname “Millions of Lights” is truly lived up to!
This is the destination for omnivores and vegetarians alike. Pomegranate Café serves healthy, wholesome vegetarian meals. It is renowned around the valley as one of the top places to eat, especially amongst east valley residents.
The café has four-star reviews on Yelp, along with many mentions in local and national magazines. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you to stop by: it was named one of the “Top 10 Spots for Healthy and Tasty Food in the Nation” by the National Gourmet Institute.
Ahwatukee Farmers Market
Hosted every Sunday, this market offers loads of local treasures. Products include flowers, jams, crafts, fresh fruits and vegetables, smoked salmon, and even fresh baked breads. This market also accepts cash, credit card, and EBT/SNAP, so all are welcome! It is definitely one of the best farmers markets in Phoenix.
Ahwatukee is the southernmost urban village in Phoenix so going through a highway is a must. And should you ever need windshield repair on your way to grab some delicious fruit, make sure to give Mr. Glassworks a call! Our auto glass technicians provide windshield replacement and repair services to Ahwatukee residents and visitors.
